Dr. Salib has become my primary doctor due to insurance companies constantly changing coverage and doctors that they cover. With that said, I have gone to Dr. Salib for the flu and for more complicated issues. Recently I was experiencing lower abdomen pain in the appendix area, and Dr. Salib quickly sent me for a CT scan at Zwanger-Persiri on a Saturday. They were able to do the test, and because Dr. Salib insisted on STAT, I was able to get a reading / results the same day. Turned out appendix was fine, but there was a mass in my kidney. Dr. Salib then was able to get me in first thing Monday for an MRI at the same location, which equally came back with results within an hour after my MRI. Luckily for me the mass is benign, but he will keep monitoring it. To solve the abdomen issue, he prescribed antibiotics thinking it was an infection, which it cleared up within a day after taking the antibiotics. He ordered additional bloodwork and a urinalysis to double check cancer in my system since it runs deep in my family. He is thorough. He is kind. He is also a proponent of medical marijuana and a licensed physician to prescribe it to those with such illnesses like MS, which my mother has. He is forward thinking. Has good connections with radiology labs and other specialized doctors that will assist if it is out of his realm of expertise. There is honestly nobody I would go to first than Dr. Salib. And since it is an urgent care facility, no appointment is generally needed. If someone complains about waiting, compare it to an ER...it's not even close.
